Today I was driving home from my brother's birthday dinner. That's right he turned 16 and got his license... :)

Happy Birthday to him!!!!

Anyways, I started thinking about all of the fun games I play in my head that no one ever gets to experience. I thought I would share a few...

1. I constantly see if it is possible for me to get ready in the morning completely head to toe. It is harder then it sounds.

2. Hanging my hand out the window and try to play my air-piano to whatever music is on. (Disclaimer: I do not know how to play the piano, so this is all off instinct lol)

3. I try to count and memorize the amount of steps needed to get a place. If I can remember and it is exactly the same that time, I feel as though I earned a few gold scores. I swear there is a score board in my head somewhere.

4. I try to get the same amount of steps between every crack in the sidewalk. Sometimes this results in one large step or a little step and then I feel bad that I cheated myself.

5. I try to match the exact speed with any slow car next to me on Mast (as in the speed limit slow) just the speeders behind us can not get through. It feels good to help a fellow citizen follow the rules:)

6. I giggle when a really tall person turns around and completely does not see me until they end up running into me. For some reason this does not bother me, but I actually get a huge kick out of it. Common occurrence in the Caf might I add.

Those are just a few of my games. I don't know why but they are like brain candy. I feel so good up in their after a round of one of these.

It's almost Friday...Hang in there folks and maybe try a little brain game or two. A secret hidden game that you play with yourself.

It's his birthday today. :) This is Tony, my dad. He's an amazing man with a large sense of humor and heart that loves God.

I love watching his drive and all the things I have learned from him.

When I see ways I am like him, I smile.

So Happy birthday to the best dad around. I hope it rocks your socks off :)

Brother Time

Tonight, I hung out with my brother while he played and sang guitar. He is pretty good. He also took the time to teach me a Bieber song. I love this kid. :)

He even gets his license next week.

Jitters

This morning I have a presentation, a final, yet no nerves about those things. Inside, I am twisting around with nerves as I head to Texas this afternoon with my sister.

I am meeting the Ozuna clan.

I do not know the place, the people and I have so many worries and anxiety's about going.

But I am picking myself up, pushing those aside, and seeing a little of what my family members are like.

There is nothing like a random trip home during the week. A water polo game, L&L with some awesome people for Taco Tuesday. Cuddling with Maddi with the sounds of Matilda putting her to sleep. Chasing the dogs through the house. TV with the dad. Now I sit here with a quiet house and just adore this place and the people sleeping in it. God, boy you have blessed me.

Antiques

My family loves antiques. In our vacations, we include any antique shop we possibly can. I love it. There is something about someone else's old things. There is the smell, kind of like an old book. Then, You wonder the story behind it and what it has seen? Sometimes, I wish they could talk.

Mamma

There is no one like my mom. When the I seem to be at the end of my rope, she always seems to find me another few feet. She loves endlessly, serves with all her heart. She has taught us to step out of the box, love our God, Stress less, and so much more. My mom is always my biggest fan. I know everyone thinks their mom is the best, but I really think mine is.

San Francisco

There is nothing better then a week long of non-stop family fun!. We hopped in the Prius and headed up the coast to see places we had never seen. To a few sibling arguments, to a Garlic filled town, to street tin men, and so much more. I love my family and our friends. We keep finding the joy in this place.

I can not wait for the more family vacations to come!

Summer is a comin

There is nothing like the freedom of summer. You are in between school years, and have a new fresh start to look forward to. In the mean time you soak up as much of the freedom as possible with work and school and of course the fun things like friends, training for cross, family, church events, beach, God's voice, and having a whole summer to hear about the man you love's wild adventures in Costa Rica. I can not wait! 3 finals and I am there...
