Justins Graduation

So its official. Dating a Gilson has caused me to become this sappy everything is making me cry person. But hey that is not such a bad thing.

Today my little brother joined the Pack. He graduated junior high. I know this may seem like a little thing...its a junior high graduation for goodness sakes! But for some reason, it got to me.

I could remember all I was feeling on eighth grade grauation day. I was so excited to be a high schooler. There was nothing cooler then being a high schooler! I would soon drive and football games and sports...WOW!! I hope he was just as excited as I was. He seemed to be though. I have to admit I was a little jealous that he was about to start four years at West Hills. Man...those were amazing days

I can not wait for him to experience being a part of the Pack. Where everyone is helpful and striving just as hard to get somewhere. I hope that he enjoys every piece of being there and every football game even if we lose, which we tend to do a lot. I hope he appreciates every person he meets, every water polo game he plays and every lap he swims in the pool. It may seem annoying at the time, but man I hope he appreciates it. I hope he continues to strive for God and keeps his caring heart. I hope he sees that never again will he have that setting where it is so easy to share God with others.

It is weird to think that he was so little before, and now he towers over me. Not the little bubba anymore...but hey thats okay:) We all grow up...except for me I stay 4'10".

I am so excited for Justin and I can not wait for him to experience all the exciting things coming. AT the end they played the song the climb...Boy did I lose it there. I think its a song that can apply to everyone.

Welcome to the Pack, Justin.
