Seasoned Love

I have mentioned before my research I am doing for school. Let's just say that I am so amazed by the words from these couples with seasoned love.

Hope you find them as warming as I have.

"The key to a good marriage is to keep Christ central, not take yourselves too seriously, keep some mutual interests, date as often as possible, and keep the lines of communication open. The word divorce should never enter conversation, especially in an argument. If this can go both ways, you will be satisfied for life."

"The key to a happy marriage is found in Phillippians 2 - it really is about thinking of your spouses needs before your own and learning to compromise."

"The fact that we approach life as a team, are committed to one another, take our burdeons to the Lord Jesus Christ, and communicate and even try to fight fairly helps a great deal. We have had to learn one another and have had to learn to adjust our expectations of one another. We have had to learn to put the other partner first. Life is not easy –but I have seen that obeying God's will and waiting for His timing paid off. My wife is such a blessing. I look forward to loving her until we are parted by death. "
